The Australian Festival of Chamber Music Donations Fund is listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations maintained under subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. The AFCM Donations Fund charitable status is Deductible Gift Recipient 1 (DGR1). DONATIONS OF $2 OR MORE ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

Suggested Wording For Bequests

Some wording you may wish to consider using (in consultation with your legal adviser) when leaving a gift in your will might be:

"I give to the Australian Festival of Chamber Music North Queensland Limited
ABN 34 050 418 730  (AFCM)

All of my residuary estate,
OR
(Specified percentage to be inserted) per cent of my residuary estate, 
OR
The sum of $........., 
OR
[List of asset/s]
to be used for its general purposes OR
to be used for emerging talent (eg Winterschool).

“I declare that the receipt of a Director of AFCM or other authorised officer will be a sufficient discharge to my executors, who will not be bound to see to the application of this gift.
